1. Overview
XP263 pneumatic tire roller is a large-tonnage pneumatic tire roller produced according to market requirements, which will take pneumatic tires as working device for compacting paved materials. The pneumatic tire roller is mainly applicable for compacting operation of asphalt pavement, foundation layer.secondary foundation layer, dam and filling engineering. It is an ideal set of compacting equipment for building high grade highway, airport, port, dam and industrial construction site.

2. Main Technical Performance and Characteristics 1) Power Device

XP263 pneumatic tire roller adopts SC7H160.2G3 electronic control diesel engine manufactured by Shanghai Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. It has the advantages of high reliability, fuel economy and low noise. Its emission should meet standard in national IIl stage. Its main technical parameters are shown as follows:

Rated power: 118kW/1800RPM; idle speed: 750RPM; maximum torque: 780Nm/1300~1400RPM.

2) Transmission System
Transmission system comprises torque converter, power shift transmission, drive axle.axle.chain and rear wheel.
Engine will drive torque converter to work. Torque converter drives power shift transmission to work. Output power of power shift transmission is transmitted to drive axle to work through drive shaft. Output powers on two ends of axle are transmitted to rear wheel through chain, so as to transmit power of roller from engine to rear wheel. and further drive roller to travel.
Adopt torque converter with continuously variable transmission as well as power shift transmission, and make roller have automatic adaptability. When outer loads are suddenly increased, the roller can automatically decelerate to increase tractive effort; when outer loads are reduced, tractive effort can be automatically reducedto adapt to variation of outer loads, improve transmission stability in compaction.and guarantee the diesel engine to normally work under rated condition.
